I’ve told you in the past about my mom, about how I got my love for dogs from her and about how my mom was the dog rescue lady in our town. Recently, we’ve found out that she has brain cancer. So today I am going to share just a few words about this special woman. She’s not only made a difference in my life but also in the lives of others, including the lives of many dogs. Of the many lessons she taught me, the most enduring thing is that dogs are family too. I love you, Mom! ❤•.✿.•❤

Oh, Dawn, I’m so sorry about your Mom!! I will keep her, you, and your family in my prayers!! I lost both my parents to cancer — Mom to breast cancer at age 56 and Dad to lung cancer at age 83 — it’s a horrible disease. I hope your Mom responds well to any treatments. (((HUGS)))

I’m very sorry to hear about your mom’s cancer. It’s clear that she has a big heart and is a fighter…and I hope she beats this cancer like she did the lung cancer.

I hope your mom gets through this one as she did in the past. As an animal lover like your mom I know that she will handle the disease better with her animals around. Animals are known for being great to help alleviate stress, depression, and pain. All the best to her.
