Yesterday just snowed and snowed. It ended up being well over 12 inches.

In the morning, Pierson checked out the newly fallen snow. This is about 1 inch.

Maya was a little bit interested in the snow yesterday morning, but 1 inch wasn’t enough for her to get excited about.

This is early afternoon and Pierson is laying in about 3 inches of snow.

Maya’s having some fun in the snow now. She’s looking for a snowball I threw.

Pierson is looking for another snowball I threw.

Pierson doesn’t quite know what to do with himself and all this fluffy white snow.

By 9:30 pm, we had over 12 inches of snow and are expecting another 1-2 inches. Pierson is loving it.

Maya was enjoying the snow until she realized she had to go poo. Where to go?

Either I’m very short, or this snow is really deep. This is definitely over a foot of snow.

Here I am at about 9:30pm standing in over a foot of snow. Too bad it is going to be really cold tomorrow. I could make a really cool fort with all this snow.

That looks like so much fun. I’m really jealous and missing the snow! Hope you don’t have to travel too far today. (Can you even get out of your driveway?)

We never get snow here but it looks like fun when we see other dogs playing in it. We would prefer warm snow.

Oh yeah, now that’s a proper winter snowfall! 😀 We’re in the same boat as you, only last night we had an ice storm that capped off the snowstorm. Every tree branch is encased in ice – it’s beautiful!

Wow that’s a lot! It is cold here again tonight… just got word that there will be a 2 hour delay for school tomorrow. Not sure why as there is only a 10% chance of precipitation. Probably to make up for the school district’s last mistake about a week ago!

My big aussie mix brother weasel – loves the snow and does just like your big dog – lay in it. He loves it. He also likes to eat some gross frozen delicacies… ugh…
WOOF WOOF!

Awwit is so sweet to see them so curious about the snow, you captured it beautifully! Also makes me second guess complaining about our recent 10 inches of snow we got here..lol

Great series of pics. We usually end up shoveling a spot for the dogs to “go” – especially Miss Meadow – she’s a bit of a priss. 🙂
It stinks that it gets too cold to enjoy it for long, once the top ices over it becomes treacherous. Stay warm!
